 SOME POSITIVE ATTITUDES TO EXHIBIT IN A COMMUNITY. 

JUSTICE AND SELFLESSNESS

WHAT IS JUSTICE? Justice is just the treatment of people regardless and irrespective of their social political religious or racial status. Justice signifies absense of favouration or centiment in treatment of people or issues.

WHAT IS SELFLESSNESS? Selflessness is the quality it being able to think or do more about the happiness, joy and progress of others ahead of one's own. Selflessness has to do with the readiness to sacrifice our personal resources such as time, money, skills and intellectual endowment for the benefits of the society at large. 

Let's check out the Opportunity to defend one self. First, WHAT'S SELF DEFENCE? It is the act of defending one self against attack from your opposition. Opportunity to defend oneself however is a value of modern society and is also a major ingredient of justice and democracy. In the human society, there are various people with rude and watch my ad behaviour. Those with negative affects others in the society negatively. This situation cause for individuals in the society to rise up for self defense. The following are some of the avanues for self defence in Nigeria ;

2. Public Complaint Commission

3. The tribunal

4. Consumer Protection Counsil

5. The traditional rulers

6. Pressure groups and civil societies

HOW TO DEFEND ONE'S SELF

1. Never keep bad company

2. Avoid going at night especially with opposite sex

3. Do not wear sexually provocating dressings

4. Report any form of sexual harassment to your parents or people in authority [Police and Teachers]

5. Disallow strangers in your appartment

INVOLVEMENT IN COMMUNITY SERVICES

Community services are the form of services rendered by members of the community for the progress of one's particular community. Members of the community could get engaged in services and h carrying out little compensation, compulsory making and several projects like [NYSC - National Youth Service Corps] that tends to give youths, graduate university or polytechnics youths the chance to interact and learn about their local and modern community. Set of people that render societal services are called volunteers. Examples of services for the community rendered are;

PEACE MAKING : This is the act of settling dispute between one parties in a society.

FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION : Facilities such as, hospitals, schools, roads, are constructed and re-abilitated by members of the community for the benefit of all.

PROVISION OF SECURITY : Members of the community form the security groups like the vigilante to ensure the security of lives and properties.

ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION : There is need to keep the community clean and neat in order to avoid the outbreak of diseases.

CARE FOR THE POOR AND NEEDY : those who can't afford to cater for themselves in a particular society should be showed attention and taken care of.
