WHAT ARE IDIOMS? IDIOMS are somewhat called expression, it is specifically, a particular variety of language or words, a not often used and uncommon dialect used in a given old times. Idioms are mostly used by highly educated people [the professors especially those in the field of English language and literature]. Idioms aren't used anymore in this new age it wasn't even a registered language anyway but they are still used in some sentence especially to say something they wouldn't want others to hear or know about, can be called a secretive language as their meanings are not known to most people. Having know this, I would give you guys examples of idioms and their meanings.

Means : lacking the ability to exhibit it.

Means : Engulfed

Means : an information known to everyone.

Means : underweight

Means : speaking too much without reasonable forms.

Means : healthy food makes one stay healthy.

Means : anger, fury.

Means : everybody or things that can be done by everybody.

Means : debating or arguing on a particular point.

Means : unemotional.

Means : fight, violence.

Means : disagreement, fight.

Means : at the beginning.

Means : full of arm and amulations

Means : get angry easily or upset easily.

Means : national imbalance that cannot be controlled by man Achilles heel.

Means : above problems, tribulations and other atrocities.
